I quickly found out what that body outline was for...

The anti-smoking crusade has reached the Atlanta University Center. They're coming up with displays to bring the point home. Today people who died of smoking have left behind their shoes. Hmmm, almost like those Truth commercials on TV except we see it in reality not on TV.

Chalk outline

I don't know the significance of this. I took a picture because of the cane. The cane I see amongst the Greeks (frats and sororities) but I saw no indication of any symbols of this being of Greek organizations. Perhaps this was a point more than anything.

Bulletin board on Campus

Right now you are seeing more and more SGA campaign flyers on these boards just about around campus. You saw the first set on It's My Mind near the cafeteria. The elections are the first week in April.

This should be better

Montana state quarter.

Montana state quarter

This isn't the best quality, but I can say that I got me a Montana quarter.

Look at these ladies

They are the reason why the men of Morehouse love to go see the Maroon Tigers play football, Mohogany n Motion. On this day it seems like they're getting ready for next year.

Guess what this is?

This thick stack are all the comments on It's My Mind since October of last year. I counted just over 40 pages of comments. It's a very respectable stack. I don't think that I could even hold a candle to this if I was to say have posts from the first two years of posting.

Hump Wednesday Pt 2

There are more people around at this moment. This is where the students of the AUC mingle and mix. The ladies show out and old friends meet up. And there are DJs too and street vendors. Cool huh?

You know since Monday I've started posting cameraphone pictures today I just posted 4 different photographs in one day here. I've never done this at The Eye. That last commentor was right this is addicting.

Oh well I need to cut this down and go back to the usual frivolity of music videos or random videos off of YouTube, lyrics, and other things that would fit here. Perhaps I do one of these mobile picture posts once or twice a week. Yeah that'll work.

Hump Wednesday!!!

A weekly activity during the week here at Morehouse. Though at the moment I took this picture it doesn't look like it. Business will pick up now that the weather is warmer.

Lunchtime!!!

Waiting for fried chicken in the cafeteria.

Alpha week at CAU

The Alpha Phi chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated at Clark Atlanta University have a week of activities including the Miss Black and Gold pageant. What you see here is something of a display a big rubber gorilla and the fraternity letters.

Sculpture outside library

In front of Woodruff Library. Nice African type sculpture outside of the academic library serving the Atlanta University Center which is home to such historic HBCUs as Morehouse College, Spelman College, Morris Brown College, and Clark-Atlanta Unviersity. There's a lot of history inside too.

On the campus of Morehouse College

A better shot of Graves Hall.

The first multimedia message

So this is going to be a first. I got me a new phone over the weekend and this means that I'm going to start posting pictures here from my camera phone. Neat huh. Hopefully they'll be of interest and if not well this is just new content isn't it. I'm going to have fun and I hope you enjoy.

BTW, this picture is on Fair Street. The tower is on a dorm, Graves Hall on the campus of Morehouse College. It's a Freshman dorm with a lot of history and nicely designed too.
